Principle: the analysis stays on your device
The entire analysis runs in your browser. The structures, loads and section properties you enter are not transmitted to a server and are not stored there. There are no user accounts and there is no sign-up.
Storage in the browser
So that your work survives a page reload, the model you last worked on
is stored in your browser's local storage (LocalStorage, key
stabwerk.model.v1). The internal force diagrams you have
switched on are recorded there as well (key
stabwerk.display.v1), and so is your choice of language
if you have switched it (key stabwerk.sprache). This
storage lives solely on your device and is neither read out nor
transmitted. In all three cases it is a technically necessary function
of the tool, not an analytics or advertising cookie.
The “Clear” button in the toolbar removes the stored model. All three entries can be deleted through your browser's settings for deleting website data.
Server log files
When the site is requested, the hosting provider automatically records data that your browser transmits: the address requested, date and time, the volume of data transferred, browser type and operating system, the referring page and the IP address. This data serves the secure and stable operation of the site. The legal basis is the legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. It is not combined with other data.
Advertising: Google AdSense
This site embeds Google AdSense, a service for displaying advertisements operated by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. When the page is requested, a script is loaded from Google for this purpose.
Google may set cookies and access information stored on your device. The data processed includes your IP address, the page requested, details about your browser and device, and details of which advertisements were shown to you and which ones you clicked. Google uses this data to deliver and measure advertisements and to prevent abuse. Data may also be transferred to countries outside the European Union, in particular to the United States.
The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 165(3) of the Austrian Telecommunications Act 2021. Consent is obtained through the consent dialogue delivered by Google. You can change or withdraw your choice there at any time; a withdrawal takes effect for the future.

Independently of this, you can delete cookies in your browser settings or block them in the first place.
No analytics, no audience measurement
Beyond the advertising, this site embeds no analytics tool. There is no audience measurement of our own, and no data is passed on to third parties for that purpose.
Embedded fonts
The fonts used are served by this site itself. Loading the fonts creates no connection to third-party servers, in particular none to Google Fonts.
