Nature of this offering

The Stabwerk frame calculator is a private, non-commercial project that grew out of civil engineering studies. There is no trade licence and no entry in the commercial register. No VAT identification number exists. There is no membership of the Austrian Economic Chamber and no affiliation with a chamber of the liberal professions.

Editorial policy

Providing a free tool for the analysis of plane frame structures, along with explanatory information on structural analysis.

Liability for results

The analysis uses the direct stiffness method for plane frame structures under first-order theory, assuming linear elastic material behaviour. The results are intended for checking and for understanding; they do not replace a structural analysis to code and they do not replace design. No liability is accepted for the correctness, completeness or usability of the results. Responsibility for the use of the results lies with the user.
